The Ramchal polemic

In the first lesson on dogmatics, you claimed that the boycotts against the Shabtai, Spinoza, and the Hasidim were not because of their opinions but because of their failure to strictly adhere to Halacha. In doing so, you support your claim that the essence of Judaism is the observance of Halacha, not opinions.
What would you say about the Ramchal polemic? There was almost a consensus against him in his generation, simply because he claimed to innovate new ideas in Kabbalah and write Zohar Shani, etc. I have not heard of any halachic allegations against him. He almost remained outside the fence if it weren’t for Rabbi Chaim Friedlander who pushed him hard.

Completely carried away. There were disputes over him, so what? Are there no intellectual disputes? And is it true that Hasidim versus opponents is not an intellectual dispute? I assume that there was also a fear of halachic deviations regarding Ramchal Shorseh. The fact that intellectual claims are raised is also true in the boycott of Spinoza. And to say that Chief of Staff Friedlander was the one who saved Ramchal from crossing the fence is a pathetic joke.
