The right to be a parent
In your article, you wrote that same-sex couples have the humane right to raise surrogate children.
One wise man warned: “A person has no right to be a parent! If a child has a right to have suitable parents, then the opportunity to be parents should be taken away from people who are not suitable.”
What are you saying? Is there really such a thing as the right to be a parent (regardless of gays)?

This is not a question of right but of equality. If the state supports parenthood, it should do so for everyone. If it had decided not to support having children at all, that would be a different discussion (whether there is indeed such a right. I also think there is not). There is a right not to have one’s life interfered with, of course, but that is a different discussion.
