The Shahar is in doubt.

In the SD
Hello Rabbi,
I wanted to ask what the right thing to do in the following situation:
There is a synagogue near me, one of those giants that has been deserted over the years (several floors, over 500 seats, but today there are fewer than a few dozen people on Shabbat, most of whom are elderly…)
And suddenly, during one evening prayer, I saw someone who looked like a poor, elderly homeless man sneaking into the building during prayer from the main entrance, apparently to sleep in one of the rooms that hadn’t really been used for years. And I debated whether it was appropriate to tell the tax collectors about it or not? About a year ago, there were also such cases, but since then they have repaired and blocked the approaches and removed them.
The doubt is, no one will really notice him, at least not in the next month, and even if he steals some crackers and herring from the kiddush food, how critical is it really…? Also, why should I report him? I may have seen the incident, but I’m not the gabbai, and I can “turn a blind eye” to it. But on the other hand, with all the sadness of the matter, this is not a soup kitchen but a synagogue, and it’s also not comfortable for the worshippers to have such people there.
In conclusion, at the time of the act, because I was in doubt, I didn’t want to dwell on it. But it’s likely he’ll still be sleeping there at night, so is it appropriate to talk about it or not?

I think so. The tax collectors should decide, not you. Maybe he’ll steal things? It’s advisable to contact welfare/the police so they can see what’s going on with him. As far as I know, a homeless person’s situation is usually not just poverty but starts with a mental problem.

To consume the discussion, let's assume that this is a place where there is no theft, is it still worth reporting?

There may be something harmful there.

Is this a categorical order? Territorial considerations? (If in my opinion something is appropriate, for example, that an unfortunate person receive certain needs, whether by me or by others, and someone else volunteered to provide them, I am satisfied. Needless to say, the law and the policeman and the judge must certainly follow the law.)

For the sake of discussion, let's assume that there is no fear of harm from the homeless person. Is it still appropriate to report him?

Oren,
It seems to me that if this is the case then there is no need. It is enjoyed and it is not lacking (Hadar in his friend's yard without his knowledge, in a yard that is not sustainable for the Agra).

Ben Nun,
I did not understand why these general principles are needed. The explanation is quite simple. When you see someone stealing, do you have to report them? Is this a categorical order or territorial considerations? There is no need for any of this.
I did not understand what it means that someone volunteered to give them. No one volunteered here, they simply do not know that he entered.

Do they say it is a pleasure and it is not lacking even in a place where they know that the landlord is not willing to allow homeless people to sleep in his apartment? (For the sake of the matter, let's say that he is careful about the sanctity of the synagogue, or that he does not want people to be deterred from entering the place due to the presence of homeless people there)

When I wrote, I did not notice that these explanations are necessary only in my opinion (which is simplicity in my opinion to the point where sometimes I no longer consider the others, and the law of the land.) Which is not acceptable to you. And the discussion about consequentialism will not start from here, so I withdraw the above (and I hope that its time will come because it is precious in my opinion).

No. The first wrote that permission is given to the speaker to object.

The fact that you think you know what's going to happen in the coming month is already a problem.
Do you sign that you'll pay for any damage he does? Or is it just until it reaches your pocket?
Obviously you have to report.
