The Sunnah of the Plant is Right in Matters of Faith and Reason
I would love to know how you understand the contribution of “Hatzem Tzedek” from Chabad to the discussion on issues of faith and knowledge.
I ask specifically about him because, unlike the books of Chabad Hasidism in general, and the Torah of General Hasidism in particular, which do not deal with the subject directly, it can be said that he took up the gauntlet and discussed these issues in a systematic and regular manner, thereby attempting to represent the Hasidic method that supposedly lacks a footprint in the field of intellectual discussion. (In his books, “The Book of Investigation,” which is dedicated to these issues, and “The Way of Your Commandments,” the commandments of “Believing in God” and the commandments of unity with God appear to be profound and broad-ranging essays.)
(I had difficulty formulating the question precisely. I do not expect you to present me with some kind of systematic summary of his main opinions and arguments, and I understand that the question is general, and for that I apologize in advance. But if you can still do this or something similar, I would be most grateful.)
