The Vanity of God
Evolution cannot help but lead thinking man, ultimately, to one conclusion, and one conclusion only, and that conclusion is: vanity. And life is vanity because God is what He is. I wonder what kind of God you believe in?

I don't understand the rabbi's response.
An atheist comes here who apparently doesn't get things in life.
It's possible to show him the rabbi's approach (which in this case could be useful).
I really didn't understand why I would answer him in this way. . .
Because of the eighth of an eighth of his pride. And no, his idle chatter will not help, I am sharp and realistic to say the least, but I was really interested to know. Anyway, he was right in his answer. Amen.
A sloppy question thrown out with such determination is laughable. And how does evolution (the gradual development of advanced animals from animals that preceded them) prove that life is futile? And what is the meaning of the proverb “And life is futile because God is what He is”?? Not only has this general topic – evolution and God – been exhausted here and the curious questioner did not bother to do a basic search, but he is apparently expecting some kind of speech constructed for treason in response to his casual question. Iron Dome does not launch an expensive missile at every flying Palestinian object unless the system recognizes that the object is properly aimed at a place worthy of its name.
And we say Amen! (and this time in the sense of full agreement) 🙂
The question is unclear and undefined, and it is unclear where and why to complain about the rabbi.
A bunch of fools. I don't even know where to begin to explain why evolution is futile. Pointless and meaningless, based on power, violence and the constant elimination of the weak. Endless diseases, a future of nothingness and ultimately death. Nature is injustice incarnate.
And I haven't even talked about life itself, go read and look at Ecclesiastes (and here was my division between evolution and life, at the bottom of the abyss). Don't you see? The cries and the noise of the tortured are the most pleasant sounds in the ears of the ’. And here is the tear of the oppressed and they have no comforter. Go pray to your evil and capricious god. But what a piece, they discovered that he was actually a statue. But in providence he stopped turning a blind eye and brought “something” at Mount Sinai as Micah said.
Who discovered that he was a statue? What the hell are you talking about?
To the great scholar A Shihi’.
Since my policy is not to censor messages unless they fall below the threshold of the lowest taste, and since you are currently slightly above it (but not by much), I offer a suggestion for streamlining:
If you have a concrete comment or question – please present it. If you don't want to explain to fools like us the height of your deep ideas, then absolutely don't write messages here.
On this site there is almost no limit to the content of the arguments that are raised as long as they are reasoned and of interest. Writers are supposed to raise arguments or questions here in any direction they wish, but certainly not to throw out unreasoned slogans (which on the surface seem really stupid to me, but that's probably because of my lack of intelligence) like the ones in your message.
Signed:: Little Fools Here.
Evolution is the constant elimination of the weaker sex. Animals themselves die equally whether there is evolution or not. The question of suffering in the world (and the possible conclusion that God is absent or cruel and unworthy of respect) is certainly a serious question – that many have dealt with, and is also discussed here on the site. I think the site owner holds the view that our world is the best of the possible worlds that are governed by laws with free choice. God wants laws even though their price is suffering, and an alternative set of laws must be proposed in order to claim that God did not choose the optimal set of laws. There is of course room to discuss what the point of lawfulness and free choice are and whether they justify suffering. I now understand that in your original message you joined those who claim the following: (regardless of evolution)
1. The world is full of suffering. 2. Therefore God is cruel. 3. Without God, there is no purpose to life. 4. If God is cruel, then there is also no purpose to life. And from here I will leave the stage to others.
I write and answer as you write and answer.
Look, I come from the yeshiva world, and I also come from the yeshiva world, but I take measure for measure. Especially towards pride. I've had enough of it, from you religious people. I see that you have knowledge and that's why I started asking here, but your pride came to me broken from the first moment. That's why I missed reading your books, not bad. But I do get to read your gig here and there. If something seems stupid to you, then instead of mocking you are welcome to point out what it is. I spoke simple Hebrew. Empirically, I see only nonsense from both evolution and the content of life. There is no theoretical or empirical proof for the existence of God, which I conclude from the reality that if there is a hypothesis that there is something called God, who would be the cause of all causes and a cause itself, it is nonsense. Neither increases nor decreases. And for our purpose, I presented you with a concrete question from the beginning: What kind of God do you believe in? Signed: A’ the Great.
To the honorable Shifoli Ha'Ahal who wrote, "And we need to propose an alternative set of laws to argue that God did not choose the optimal set of laws." I propose that there should be no death and other things that are defined as evil by humans. And if this situation raises any kind of problem, God has solutions. Let Him solve it all.
