The video that shocks the rabbis?
Hello, Your Honor,
I am writing you this email out of deep frustration I have with a certain YouTube channel, iGod.co.il.
This is a channel I came across recently, whose goal is to incite Jews from the “rabbinic religion” as it is called there, to a religionless faith in Jesus Messiah.
The channel publishes videos on a daily basis depicting the rabbis as corrupt people who seek control, power, and enrichment at the expense of the people through the “myth” of the Oral Torah, and through slick words that attract the viewer (“the secret that has been hidden from you for two thousand years”), convincing him to renounce Judaism.
My frustration would have been much less bad if the channel hadn’t blocked the ability to comment or like/dislike their videos, but it did block any possibility of criticism.
The people on the channel speak in a convincing tone that sweeps thousands(!) of Jews after them. I’m attaching some of their videos so you can see their claims for yourself:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ChpU28nHdzI The Status of Women in Rabbinic Halacha versus the Revolutionary Attitude of the Messiah
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_IlYeqDkWHE “Love your neighbor as yourself” – who has the best definition – Jesus or Maimonides?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CxJ9Y14nCAs Why do the rabbis really reject and hate Jesus?
If you actually watch these or other videos, you will see that the channel, which brings up half-segments and takes them out of context, thereby achieves tens of thousands of views, and all of this without the possibility of criticism.
It is also important to note that the channel pays YouTube to promote their videos, so they are available to almost every Israeli who logs on to YouTube.
I searched the internet for reviews of them, but unfortunately I couldn’t find any.
I’ve already heard of several friends of friends who, following these videos, came back with the question.
I wanted to ask you to address the issue in one of your columns on the site, so that there will be a stable review of this channel.
The channel encompasses various topics, and I don’t know how to address all of them in one article, but I believe that the rabbi is capable of doing so.
If you don’t want to comment on this, I would be happy to hear the reason for this, or perhaps receive an explanation for myself of what evidence and claims can be presented against those who claim that the “rabbinic religion” was motivated at the time of its formation by power and a desire for control (of course I am not convinced by this stupid claim, but I don’t know how to prove it clearly).
Thank you very much and have a good day,
These videos have been posted on my site several times, and I can really see that there are people who take them seriously. I saw the first video, and it’s really not very impressive demagogy. At first, I thought I’d write a neat response to at least one of the videos to teach the principle and show the flaws in their arguments. But this raises a few problems:
1. A structured response on my website does not undergo SEO and will not be widespread enough to respond to everyone who sees those videos.
2. You also need to think about the format of the response. If I write a comment article about a video, it’s not effective, as there are no real-time comments for the viewer.
Therefore, it seems more appropriate to create a response that accompanies the video and points out its shortcomings. But I don’t have the means to do that.
I have to think about what can be done and how.
thanks,
Hello Rabbi and thank you for the quick reply,
Can you please direct me to the times on the site where the videos were brought up? I would love to see the discussion about them if there is any.
Here's what I found. I think there are more places. But there wasn't any real discussion since I didn't watch the videos.

A’ My friend, I am as frustrated as you are, and so I spent many hours preparing a video that exposes the lies and great ignorance of the missionaries.
The video responds to the video against the resident”a (the long one), because it is their main one.
We uploaded it to YouTube and within a week it was removed due to copyright claims, they themselves contacted YouTube (because we used their video and responded to every segment), we did not give up and uploaded it to the Facebook page we opened: “Exposing the Lies of the Internet Mission”.

You are welcome to watch the video and distribute it as much as you can, because unfortunately it is not gaining enough momentum.
Best regards.
By the way, how will Christians respond to the whole claim that Jesus acted out of a desire for honor and control?
There is no way to establish that this was not the case, and there is no need. Speculation and conspiracies can be given away until further notice. The burden of proof is placed on them in the heaviest way.
As mentioned, watch the video I made, which answers the arguments.
Hello.
I intend to address the matter on the site here later. As part of this, I will also show the video of Y that was brought here.
Thank you very much, Rabbi.
I know you don't have the means, but it would be a huge help to the Jewish people if you could really think seriously about some solution that would convey what you have to say to the viewers. Maybe a response video that shows the video in real time and solves the problems it presents. The video about the “rabbinical myth” has already surpassed half a million views! Even if only a percentage of all viewers really took the things to heart, that's at least 5,000 Jews who were captured, and that's a significant number…
I hope that the issue will not be neglected,
And thank you again for your response.
Hey, did you watch the video I linked to?
Y Hello.
Although I am not a lawyer and it is worth checking this legally, I think you were misled. There is no legal impediment to using various materials to study, review, examine and criticize them. This is the law in Israel. Although you must indicate the source and the author, in order to maintain moral copyright. But there is no reason here to sue for copyright infringement. Worth checking.
As mentioned, later in the year I will also watch your film and post a neat comment.
Thank you Rabbi, I checked superficially and it seems to me that they do have the right to request removal of a video, and on the other hand it seemed that there is a permitted form of use in the case of criticism. I will check more closely.
In any case, the decision to remove the video cannot be appealed (it involves legal proceedings), so if it seems legal, we will re-upload it and hope for the best.
Thanks for taking the time to do this!

Thank you very much for your willingness and responsiveness!
I must say about the video that while it makes valid claims, its length may make most viewers not want to invest their time in it. It seems to me that if there is a possibility to shorten it (remove unnecessary editing parts, etc., or insert things that were said on their video), it would definitely help.
And to Rabbi Michael – I will definitely send this article to people I know who were affected by the video and ask them to spread it, I hope it will have the same effect and even more. Again, a huge thank you.
There are more sequels coming soon. I just started with this video.
