In the trilogy, you wrote about the Khazari’s words about the virtue of Israel and wondered where the Khazari got the idea that only Jews are capable of attaining prophecy.

In research, see for example Daniel Lasker’s introduction to Michael Schwartz’s translation of Khozari, it is claimed that the source is the Muslim Shia, who attribute a special virtue to the Shia imams, and their virtue is expressed in prophecy.
