Thinking about God in unworthy places
When I shower, sometimes thoughts of transgression come to me and I am tempted to sin. What helps me overcome the urge is thinking about God. Is that permissible?
Simply put, there is no prohibition there to reflect on the words of the Torah. And thinking about God seems to me to be not thinking about the words of the Torah at all.
Are you sure?
Everyone always says that it is forbidden to think about Torah in the bathroom and I was also once told that it is not appropriate to think about G-d even in the bathroom. On the other hand, this is what helps me overcome and not sin.
In addition, am I also allowed to contemplate Torah completely in the bathroom?
I know it is allowed to complain in the shower if there is no toilet in the same room
Many poskim allow it, partly because they are clean today and perhaps contemplation is permitted in general. It is advisable to try not to.
