Time of Mount Sinai

But I wanted to ask, it is very true that this is how it turns out, but was it supposed to be at the beginning of creation and not 2448 after the creation of the world, according to tradition, or a few million years according to science? It seems a bit bizarre that suddenly 3337 years ago (according to tradition) a creator decided to give instructions to the world he created long ago.
