Tithing money from an inheritance
Hello Rabbi Avraham,
I recently asked you some questions regarding the firstborn inheritance. I wanted to ask another question regarding tithing money from an inheritance. I converted a little over a year ago, and a few months after I converted, my father passed away, leaving a fairly large sum. Until now, I have not been in the habit of setting aside tithing. The question is, should I now set aside tithing from the inheritance? If so, should I set aside 10% or more (or less?), and for which charitable purposes is it best to set aside?

Are there any charitable organizations that you recommend? Who do you usually donate tithes to?
Also, is it permissible to deposit tithes in a savings account for loan purposes, or does this not fulfill the obligation of tithing?
I think the Paamonim organization is operating correctly and appropriately.
Beyond that, I have limited trust in organizations. We find our own goals (usually not through organizations).
You can definitely deposit the funds in the GMA.
Donations to organizations like Values, or Nefesh Yehudi, or Hidabad, and the like, can this be done with tithe money?
I think so, but as far as I understand, it's better for the poor.
The advantage of some organizations is that you can receive a tax refund of 35 percent of the donation amount.
Are there any other organizations you know that you think are worthy?
I know that there is a Torah nucleus center in Lod (where I live). As far as I know, they are doing very well. If you would like to inquire about details:
