To the Shar on a foreigner

A stranger played a prank on another stranger and turned around, so the one who ‘kidnapped’ doesn’t know who did it to him, his friend or me.
Am I allowed to tell/imply to a foreigner that he ‘kidnapped’ his foreign friend’s hand in the matter and not mine?
