Torah for the redemption of the son

שו”תCategory: generalTorah for the redemption of the son

Hello Rabbi Michi,
In the year of the Lord’s Supper, our firstborn son was born. In my search for a Torah passage (i.e., one that is not an unfounded wort) for the event, I realized that the material that can be dealt with is scarce (given that we want to talk about something more pleasant to the audience than the laws of beheading a sheep, whether or not it is possible to reduce the number of sheep for Rachel who gave birth to two, etc.). At the moment, the only direction I am researching is the difference between redemption and desecration (if there is one. In a conceptual analysis, it seems to me that there is a difference between redemption of captives, redemption of the holy place, and redemption of a sheep’s sheep from redemption of a second tithe, a second tithe, etc. The question is where to associate the redemption of a firstborn son with the NEPK, is there a debt here in the form of redemption of captives, or is there a transfer of challahs here like redemption of a second tithe).
I would love to hear if the rabbi has any interesting direction or idea he could point to.

Congratulations. I don’t see any party transferring challah here.
