Torturing the people is a sacred goal.
The cantor finished the closing prayer and instead of saying Shema Yisrael and blowing the shofar exactly on time
The gabbai gave him pages with the names of the kidnapped and he read them out loud with the help of women and men. Later, those on the way to the soldiers cried. Only then did Israel hear.
In total, hundreds of people, women and children, broke their fast about 2-3 minutes late.
Is this justified for this noble purpose?
Is the Gabbai’s famous leftism relevant to the discussion?
I think 2-3 minutes is not too bad. In many places it just comes from a delay, a prayer. I think the “right” of the questioner is relevant to this question. I don’t think that worrying about the kidnapped and praying for their return is a leftist matter. Nor is it anyone who blessed the soldiers. If they are suffering and/or fighting for you, you can hold back 2-3 minutes for them. I’m sure everyone in your country has survived this terrible suffering and injustice.
What, has concern for the kidnapped already become leftism?
This is new to me.
Concern for the kidnapped is concern for the kidnapped.
Neither right-wing nor left-wing.
Where have we come to???
