weapon
Rabbi, are you in favor of the move to make purchasing weapons legal? Any citizen who has passed a shooting license will be able to buy a weapon like in the United States?
Absolutely not. But perhaps there is room to expand the number of licensees. And is the US an example worth emulating? They are a bunch of violent, mindless lunatics.
Look, it's a wonder: every teenager owns a weapon (a weapon), and we've hardly heard of any horrific incidents. A wonder
It's a wonder, and these boys are under a military regime, framework and discipline. And there is still quite a bit of smuggling and theft from the army. In the US, weapons are free and it's a wonder (or not a wonder) the reality there is completely different.
I'm speaking while they're going home for vacation. We haven't heard of any shootings in various fights and scuffles. Well, then let it be more free and under constitutional coercion. There's no need to be extreme like in America and there's no need to be extreme like the situation now in Israel.
The question is starting to become ill-defined. I don't have a clear line or criterion, and I assume you don't either. In general, I don't see what there is to gain from it. Only to lose.
My view is that in order to deprive a person of their rights, there needs to be a reason. Until proven otherwise, I tend to believe that a person has the right to defend themselves with weapons. True, it has been proven that America is problematic. Okay, so not like America. There's still a long way to go.
