Website error? ‘I’m a dog that’s a bit of a jerk’
I asked about the singing in the synagogue at the 3rd meal, Bnei Hichla.
Shouting the words “I am a dog that is stubborn” out loud
What’s the point of this and what does it mean?
(I am ashamed to ask in the synagogue)
The rabbi answered, but for some reason it didn’t open on my computer either. I tried and nothing opened. There was some glitch on the site.

I’m not aware of any glitch, but I’ll copy what I wrote here for you:
Don’t worry, they don’t understand anything either and are just shouting out of habit.
Who are those cheeky dogs? There have been many interpretations of this. A dog’s bark, people in lust for sex, and other sources of shame. You can see a close discussion here: https://forum.otzar.org/viewtopic.php?t=19247
