What do you need the Bible for?

שו”תCategory: faithWhat do you need the Bible for?

Hello Rabbi, have a good week.
As I understand it, Judaism is Halacha. So what is the value of Jewish works like the Bible that do not contain commandments like most of the Bible? Approximation?
Maybe my perception of what Judaism is is wrong to begin with?
Thanks, Nick

I have often written as you say. In my opinion, the value of everything else is unclear. It may have a universal value, and after all, every Jew is also supposed to be a human being. But it is not a Jewish value. Indeed, the Bible is accepted in other religions. But my problem with the Bible is more serious: not only is its content not significant, but in my opinion it has no content at all that can be extracted from it. People push their own thoughts into it.
