What is the reason and idea for the mitzvot of Purim, especially the reading of the Megillah every year?
I wanted to ask, what is the idea that underlies the regulation for generations that our Sages established for us to read the Megillah every year? There is certainly some rationale for this, that they wanted us to internalize the story of the Megillah that concerns generations, including you and I in 2023, and I asked in my request what that idea, or view they wanted us to internalize, and what, then, are the practical implications of this for our implementation?

The idea is very profound and outsiders will not understand: to read the scroll every year to remember the miracle of salvation and to give thanks for it.
And as I heard from Rabbi Midan who said that he knew 22 excuses for why Ruth is read on Shavuot but only one excuse for why Esther is read on Purim. So I wrote this one excuse, and may the good Lord atone for me and you for such a Purim question.
