What is your opinion on postmodern philosophers?
You often slander the continental and French postmodernists (Lyutare, Baudrillard, Deleuze, Bourdieu, Foucault, Lévi-Strauss, Hayden White, Clifford Geertz, and others).
Have you read them and based on that do you reject them?
Or did you mark the target in advance and because their chatter wasn’t to your liking, you didn’t bother to read more than a few pages?
Sorry for the wording, I’m dying of fatigue and don’t have the energy to think about politeness 🙂
I read a very small sample (both the sources and those that refer to and rely on them) and I was always disappointed. In scientific generalization, I draw general conclusions from this. I don’t know if that’s what you call marking the goal in advance, or if fatigue was the cause.
