What you forbade I permitted, and what you permitted I forbade?
The president of a world power is coming [or any other dignitary], is it permissible for a woman to sing in front of him?
The president of a world power arrives [or any other dignitary], is it forbidden to shake his hand when it is clear that it is only out of politeness?
I don’t know the answer to the first question, but there was someone who chose to sing.
Regarding the second question, I do know that Rabbi Moshe Feinstein and many other poskim wrote that shaking hands for the sake of politeness is permissible, if there was someone who chose to shame [herself? Her confession, is it all sex?] in public and not shake hands.
Is it a classic that you forbade, I permitted, and that you permitted, I forbade?
What does the Halacha say about this?
What is the Rabbi’s opinion?
Yes, I just saw this criticism of Yuval Dayan. I really disagree.
I also think that at least when necessary it is permissible to shake hands, but if she thinks otherwise – she did a very nice job and she deserves great respect. I’m sure the US president understood that this is not something against him but a religious rule, and I’m sure he respects it. She probably thinks that singing in front of men is permissible, so she didn’t follow that (and maybe she allows herself to do so out of respect, which is also legitimate). There are differences in both things, and for some reason you choose to make one easier and forbid the other, exactly the opposite of it. Why are you allowed to choose and she is not allowed to?
She deserves a lot of appreciation. May her strength be with her.
What is prana?
Probably a livelihood
Moroccan bread
Both answers are correct (especially the first one).
Now I received on WhatsApp:
If she had dried Putin up like that, she would have been the true Yuval Dayan.
What is your source that R’ Moshe Feinstein Zalela” allowed?
I saw again that in the AJM or the CJC he forbids raids, and in the CJC it is difficult to rely on the explanation to make it easier.
First time that the rabbi is excited about the Kiddush of the ’ together with the entire sector???
Not excited, appreciative. And this is definitely not the first time
By the way, it was just announced that she spoke to the organizers and was informed in advance and told to perform anyway, so she also agreed to cancel a performance for this. So it's worth checking before you boo.
Indeed, the claim is that Biden forgot the summary.
What else is new?
