Why did God create the world?
What is the Rabbi’s opinion on the matter of God’s reason for creating the world and whether a reason is needed or not?

I tend to think that he probably had a reason (or purpose) and didn’t do it just for fun. There is some personification here, but that’s what my logic says.

The Torah is also personification.
So also saying there is a reason is personification, perhaps in divine logic a cause and effect is not necessary.
