Why do I think I am right????
Peace to the rabbi
Why in an argument one person thinks they are right and not the other – it is impossible to know!!!
It’s simply clear to me that it makes no sense to think that I’m right in an argument with so many people. Let’s give an example:
Why does Reuben argue with Shimon, Levi and Yehuda don’t know who is right [they have no idea] but when Levi gets into the business and it’s clear to him like Shimon, Yehuda gets into the business and it’s clear to him like Reuben, [Reuben Yehuda/Shimon Levi] it’s clear to everyone that they are right, but what’s good is that Zebulun still doesn’t know who is right!!!! Only to the one who argues is it clear and it’s very puzzling!!!!!! But all of this is a prelude to this:
It seems to me that it is pride to say that billions of people have spoken [very wisely] and have come to the conclusion that there is no God, but to me and my friends [even if they are no less wise] it is clear otherwise and that is what is right. This is pride. I ask whether it is possible to conclude from this that the Torah wants us to believe even without knowledge, since we have so many who disagree with us and therefore apparently we cannot know??? But apparently I am cutting the branch on which I am sitting since the Rabbi does not agree with me, and yet I think I am right, [unbelievable what pride] [In this case, regardless of the claim, I have to trust the Rabbi and therefore in any case:] I would like to know why the Rabbi wrote to Yehuda Avraham in the Responsa “How can I know” in this language:
“I object to your methodological premise, according to which a position should be formed according to what smart people think. Smart people think in all directions and on all sides. That way you won’t get anywhere. You have to form a position yourself.” What is meant by this and why think that we, the smart ones, can be wrong just as they are??? I would very much like to hear an answer. thanks.

It is true that the Rabbi does not need to [and rightly so] write to everyone who did not understand over and over again, [obviously the Rabbi does not have time for that]
But Rani I did not come up with an answer at the end of the day, [I probably simply did not understand]
Therefore I will ask for an answer from someone who has more time to answer here. All the other members of the site, did you understand the answer? At the end of the day, does anyone have an understanding of this? [If so, please write the topic that bothers me.]
