Women in public office
Hello Rabbi,
What is the halachic permission to appoint a woman to a position that has ‘power’ over the public, such as a judge, MK, rabbi, etc.?

Before you ask what is permissible, ask what is forbidden. And even if there is a prohibition (and in my opinion there is not), there is the ruling “accept it.”
