Does the dear rabbi have an article on the topic of women wearing pants?
What does the rabbi think?

No. And in my opinion it’s not worth an article either. There’s certainly no problem with women’s pants (as long as they’re modest). There could be a problem with men’s pants, but there are almost no pants like that. Today, the majority are unisex, and in my opinion, there’s no problem with that either, because today it’s a custom for women and men, and not a man’s tool. All assuming there’s no immodesty of one kind or another.

But don't you need a skirt? On the one hand, it's close to the calf? And what about the custom of the daughters of Israel in all the holy communities?

This requires an article, girls I know are "wracking their brains" and think they are completely sinful and have no answer, there is serious brainwashing on the Internet on sites like Hidabrot, for example, on this subject.

Agree with B, B is 100% right.

B’ Is this really halachically correct? This sounds like a big innovation according to the accepted speech… and even a deviation from the path..
Anyway, the rabbi writes that it is on the condition that it is modest, what does he mean?.. For example, if it is not tight then many pants do not fit and so on.

I don't know how to define modesty. It's a vague concept.

ב replied 6 years ago

Why is it dim?

מיכי replied 6 years ago

I don't know. It's a fact that it's vague. Can you give clear criteria for modesty? And isn't it clear that it depends on the context and that there are different amounts of immodesty and it's hard to draw the line?

If you don't know how to define modesty, then why do you define pants as permissible? When you understand the definitions of modesty, you see that there is no permission for this and there is no ruling that has permitted such a thing.

In what you wrote “And in my opinion it is also not worth an article in women's pants there is certainly no problem (as long as they are modest)”. We have accepted, as in any halachic ruling, that everything requires a source and authority, and as long as it comes from the understanding of… it really would not be worth mentioning.
And why is it not worth an article??

Do you have an article on why it is permissible to cut challah with a knife on Purim? Why is it permissible to sit on Wednesdays? As we know, everything requires a source and a certificate.
I'm done with these klotzkashies.

mikyab Regarding what you wrote: Do you have an article on why it is permissible to cut challah with a knife on Purim? Why is it permissible to sit on Wednesdays? As we know, everything requires a source and a certificate.
I'm done with these klutzes.

I hope your little 3-year-old son didn't write this for you because it doesn't match the level…

איש יהודי replied 2 years ago

Not every nonsense needs a source!! (Like cutting a knife into challah on Purim)
But in things that are the basis of the Jewish people, you can't invent things that you can't even suck out of your finger

איש יהודי replied 2 years ago

I would appreciate the Rabbi's response and not someone else's.

מיכי Staff replied 2 years ago

What exactly am I supposed to respond to? Bring an article with sources that a woman is allowed to wear women's pants? Which, as is known, is the basis of the Jewish people. I'm just reminding you that this site is intended for those who can read and write and those who have successfully passed the first grade.
