Your opinion on the following topic
Small children are educated at a very young age (right in kindergarten) what it means to be a “family.” I am used to a world where they are educated as a father + mother + children.
In your opinion, the state should allow complete freedom on LGBT issues and relationships.
You present yourself as a liberal. Does a liberal like you think that in public education, the existing content that is taught about family should be added to?
For example, a family of father + father or mother + mother, or a polyamorous family (families that actually exist in the country)
It should be noted that young children do not know how to distinguish between the moral/religious/political aspects of these issues.
For them, the template of what a “family” can be is only being built.
My opinion is that the school shouldn’t be involved in all this. It should provide information but not convey a value perspective.
But school is not a university where you learn in a cold and systematic way. It is a social system that educates young children on how to see the world in general. We could say that the goal is for all schools to treat this issue at least neutrally. I think it is more correct to put it this way. And there is also a need to provide an answer if a child asks questions on the subject. You can't let him learn everything on his own.
I don't really understand your answer, Mikhi. It is known that in kindergartens (I'm not talking about schools) there are pictures of a family with a father, mother and child, and the children are also educated about this, why it is a family.
The question is what happens, if in a formal/legal framework of state education in kindergartens, a directive is issued that the pictures of a family that contains a father + mother, pictures of a father and father and also of a polyamorous family are added. Or in general that kindergartens also have picture books that contain same-sex families. . .
And of course, following on from what “A” wrote above, there is no desire here for a real discussion with the tender children, but only a desire to shape their minds.
Mikhi, you write that the state should allow complete freedom, and that you are a liberal.
If the state decides that just as there is a “doll's corner” and a ”doctor's corner” And “family corner”, so the family corner is being upgraded in accordance with the families that are becoming more common here in Israel, are you, Mikhi, as a liberal, in favor of the family corner being a picture of a father and father or of a polyamorous family?
I would appreciate the answer.
I am not in favor of it for halakhic reasons. That is why I send my children to religious education. I see no obstacle to this in secular education. What is not clear here?
It is not at all clear. Is it legitimate that in secular education a child would be educated to see himself as a cat? Is it legitimate that in secular education there would be no problem for a man to marry his mother? Or a lady with her father? Of course, when this is done under the auspices of the sacred law of consent between adults.
Okay, we've reached reading comprehension problems, so I suggest you stop. There's no point in writing when you don't understand what I'm writing.
