Does the rabbi also feel the terrible deterioration of the culture of discourse in the country?
Everyone is shouting at each other and speaking in a vulgar language. There is no sense of brotherhood, and it seems to me that this is because of Uncle Amsalem and Ben Gvir and Shas and their entire audience of voters who behave in a bestial manner and pit us against each other and present Judaism in a primitive and crude way that makes you vomit. What is the solution to the situation? How do we remain optimistic in the face of the terrible things that have been happening lately?

There is no connection between language and the quality of discourse. The question is whether substantive arguments are raised, not how they are expressed. In this sense, the situation is currently much better than it has been so far. I will discuss this in the next column.
