The debates about the truth

שו”תCategory: generalThe debates about the truth
asked 8 years ago

peace
How can one deal with the problem that each of humanity thinks that the truth is with them, since there are wise men no less than me, and they disagree with me, even after hearing my arguments, on how one can know the truth.
If your books deal with this, I would appreciate it if you could define in two lines what the direction is there, so that I know what the direction is until I can obtain the book.
Thanks in advance.

The direction is that it is impossible to cope and there is no need to cope. When I come to formulate a position, I do not rely on anyone’s opinion but on my own. This is what is required of me and I cannot demand anything else. Therefore, it does not matter to me what others think, but of course it is important to hear their reasons. When I have heard all the reasons, I will be able to formulate my own position and decide. That is all. If I was wrong, then I was wrong. I am a human being and this happens to everyone. God, the Almighty, does not come in a state of grievance with His creatures.
