A baby who was captivated by one prohibition
Hello Rabbi,
Let’s say that in the laws of Shabbat, one person believes that a certain act is forbidden and the other believes that it is permitted. Is the one who believes that it is forbidden like a baby who was captivated by that prohibition? Let me give you an example. Let’s say that a certain person believes that it is forbidden to shake things on Shabbat in a regular modern-day street according to the Maimonides’ method, and his friend believes that it is permitted according to the Rashi’s method. Is it permissible for a certain person to ask his friend to shake an object for him in the street?
Best regards,
It has nothing to do with the baby being captured. Regarding the other person’s failure, I wrote about it in column 503 and in this article:

Although this name deals with the opposite case, in my opinion it would be the same for this case. Although in my article on Hamura and Kola I brought a discussion of exactly such a case from Manchat Shlomo on behalf of the KTS and more, see there:

But all of this is about causing the other person to commit a crime. Here it is using the actions of the other person and this is forbidden. It is like a handshake that is like your own action.
