Emptiness of the analytical
Hello,
I recently reread the book “Truth and Unstable” and also heard you debate with Aviv Franco, and a question came to my mind regarding what the Rabbi calls “the emptiness of the analytical.” From what I understand, a valid logical argument cannot lead to the discovery of a new conclusion unless it is implicit in one of its premises (the desired premise) or it is not a valid logical argument.
On the other hand, the Rabbi spoke about the principle of causality, which is a logical principle, and used it to defend the plausibility of the reality of the Lord of the Universe. How can this not be called falling into a logical fallacy? On the one hand, it is a logical argument, but on the other hand, you are making a factual claim about the world. I would be happy to explain, and as usual, thank you very much for your content and your thoughts.

If so, then it's a circular argument in some way, isn't it? You assume the existence of the Creator and on that basis you build a logical argument that proves it (or at least shows that it's plausible). That is, if from the start I disagree (God forbid) with the assumption of God's existence, then can the whole argument be thrown out?
This is the case with any logical argument. I have explained this in several places. The claim is empty but not false and unhelpful. A person does not always understand what lies in his premises. And it is true that if you disagree with the premise of the argument, you are not obligated to accept the conclusion. This is nothing new.
