Hello Rabbi
What do you think is genius and who do you think is a genius? If you can give examples,
Do you think Yeshayahu Leibowitz was a genius?
Do you think Aharon Barak is aware of his staggering hypocrisy?

I don’t know how to define genius. This is a question of arbitrary definition and I can’t answer it. There is no doubt that Leibovitz was very talented, and so was Aharon Barak.
Aharon Barak, like most of us, went with his own perceptions, and I assume that like the rest of us, he was not always aware of the assumptions implicit in them.

If I remember correctly, the rabbi in one of his lessons defined the moment of scientific discovery as a flash of genius (I don't guarantee the exact wording)
