God
I saw that the rabbi was answering someone about the infinite regression that must be minimally interrupted in light of the principle of causality.
I saw in another question or the same one that you say you don’t care about the question of God’s changeability.
My question is this: If the regression must be interrupted in some way, then how is it possible for God to change? After all, his activation for the purpose of change is a prior cause, and therefore the regression does not end with him, and it follows that he is not God. The God of the cosmological view, as far as I understand, cannot change in principle. And if he can change, then he is not God.
Thank you for your answers.
You assume it is a causal variable. It is not. Just as a person chooses, his choice is not the result of a cause.
I couldn't understand. Is a person's choice not the result of a cause? How do we know that? Why give up the principle of causality in this case?
I've written a lot about choice. Read one of the articles. This is the definition of choice.
I understand, thank you very much.
