I read a little about what you wrote that the correct reason for keeping a mitzvot is “like this” like the words of the Rambam, “Do the truth because it is truth.”
I really have a hard time understanding why this reason should make me do a commandment, as if I don’t care if this is the truth, I want to have fun!
Ultimately, I come to the conclusion that it stems from the desire to be a good person and it’s a kind of “not for its own sake”, meaning I want to follow the path of truth, because I want to be a good person and follow the path of truth, I don’t think anyone is really interested in following the path of truth “like this”
And if I offer you an explanation, then will you understand why you should follow it and not do whatever comes to your mind? There are no explanations. so.
I don’t see the connection between telling the truth and being a good person. You’re playing with words.

Is it correct to say that doing the truth because it is true means that it is the right thing (to keep the commandments of your Creator)?
Absolutely. And beyond that, if God commands it, it is probably also the right thing to do on His part.
What does it mean to do the right thing on one's own part?! After all, according to Rabbi Iloli, without a command from God (in any way), there is no validity for any obligation. To do the right thing on one's own part means that even without a command, there is something that "must be done"?
The meaning is that it is an act that brings benefit and is therefore worthy of doing. The imperative is only an indication of this. The question of obligation is a different question from the question of what is right.
Benefit is just a fact, about the "ought to do" I ask, "ought is possible without a command, but duty is possible only with a command?" What is the justification for such a division?
The discussion is unnecessary. We are speaking on the assumption that God exists. The question is whether He also commanded. Therefore, there is a merit and a command.
