Soft logic

Have you heard of Oded Maimon’s “soft logic” idea? What do you think of it?
On one hand (assuming I understood), he creates an additional number axis on the regular axis, which he calls the 0 axis, and also defines positive and negative 0 (including algebra that allows for describing numbers on these axes).
According to him, logic based on the aforementioned mathematics could enable logical thinking that could also contain contradictions, and serve as a “bridge” for understanding the connection between our inner world (consciousness, etc.) and the outer world, essentially a kind of mathematization of consciousness.

I’m so familiar with this kind of nonsense, that even without reading and knowing it, it’s clear to me that there’s nothing there.

I agree with you that this is nonsense. I assume that your reasoning, which you didn't bother to provide, is something like this: Even if it is possible to create alternative (non-binary) logics on the technical-formal level, the philosophical presentation of this move itself relies on traditional and binary logic. Therefore, if we choose to honestly adopt the soft logics, we won't even be able to express in words or think about their very existence. A paradox.
Am I right?

If you soften the concept of logic, soft logic is indeed created.
You can also deny logic and then there is no such thing at all.

But that is going backwards in development. A baby has no logic and in a child (and most people) logic is quite soft and one can say (and hear) one thing and another and the opposite without any interruption.
