According to how the rabbi presents in “Mahalachim Bin Ha’O’Madim” the relationship between halacha and law, what is the point of studying halacha if it is impossible to live by it anyway (of course, according to the laws of the rabbinical court)? Similarly, is there any point in going to a rabbinical court that will rule according to the Shulchan Arbiter and not to a court that will rule according to the correct way to conduct oneself?
