Q&A: Logic and God
Logic and God
Question
Hello and blessings,
God, as the first cause, is also limited by logic. That means there are things that preceded the first cause, and you agree to those as well.
If so, why do we need the Creator at all? Why not remain only with the laws of physics that we know? And when people ask us who created the laws, we will answer: who created logic?
I am aware that logic is not a law, but it is still a certain limiting framework within which alone one can speak, meaning that it is something defined, and about it too one can ask: who created this?
Thank you
Answer
You answered yourself. It is not a framework at all. And you cannot ask who created something that is not a thing. The fact that a triangle is not round is not a limitation but the essence of a triangle. The inability to create a round triangle is not an inability and not a limitation.
