Intuition

Hi Mikhi, I understand that you think (and I very much agree) that intuition is a tool of cognition and not of thinking. I wanted to know where you got your definition of intuition from. Is this your insight, or are you influenced by some philosopher? (From what I understand, most philosophers think it is a tool of thinking and not of knowing) Thank you very much! : )
