Light blue tassel
Have a good week, happy holidays.
I saw that the rabbi was wearing a light blue turban.
I would love to know the halakhic background or at least the chapters. I don't understand the matter at all and only see that most people and their leaders don't wear blue and don't address the matter at all.
I would be happy if, as a conclusion, the Rabbi would say whether he is giving a recommendation or a blanket ruling on the matter or not.

I checked a long time ago. As far as I'm concerned, it's at least a Torah question and even more so (there's a good chance it's indeed a blue one). Most of the public is conservative and in my opinion, most of those who don't wear a blue one do so without real reasons.
When I looked into the issue, I was referred to Rabbi Benny Baraki, who looked into it with all the great Haredi poskim. I called him and he told me that these were inventions of Mazruhniks. I was unable to get any factual reasoning out of him.
