On Kabbalah and other methods
Hello, you wrote to me (in response to my private email to you) in Zahhal: "I see in it (the wisdom of Kabbalah) some good and interesting intuitions, but not a source of authority… There is quite a bit of vague talk there that is based on poorly defined concepts, and they cover up nonsense." Can you give me an example of this?

On everyone's mind is the debate about the reduction, whether it is literal or not. It's complete nonsense.
Even the difference between a circle and a fill (the light and the line) speaks of two functions or appearances of the Holy One, but the distinction between them is not sharp and I doubt to what extent this is about something that goes beyond mere psychology (religious experience). People experience God one way or another, but in practice I see no difference between a circle and a fill.
