Rabbi, look at this amazing text.
Nietzsche on the Jews in the twilight:
The mental resources of the Jews of our time are beyond all estimate; it is rare among all the inhabitants of Europe that they will seek refuge in a cup of drunkenness or suicide in times of distress, […] In the history of his ancestors and forefathers, every Jew has abundant mines of miracles of coolness and perseverance, most settled in situations of terror, of the most refined cunning and exploitation of disaster and chance; their courage under the guise of miserable submission, the heroism of their soul which is in contempt of the fact of their being despicable […] For two thousand years they have been accustomed to contempt […] humiliation and the slandering into dirtier livelihoods—and indeed, by such treatment they have not become cleaner. But despicable? They have not yet ceased to see themselves as destined for the highest things […] In the way in which they honor their fathers and children, in the wisdom inherent in their life and marriage customs, they excel all Europeans. Then they will be considered inventors and guides to the people of Europe. Without this being an insult to their honor. And into what other channel could this be allowed to flow, into that abundance of tremendous impressions that have accumulated, and with which Jewish history fills every Jewish family, that abundance of passions and virtues and decisions and abstinences and struggles and victories of every kind – where would all this mighty stream flow, if not into intellectuals and great deeds! Then, when the Jews will be able to point to such precious stones and golden vessels as the work of their hands, and which like them were not and are not capable of creating European peoples whose experience is shorter than that of the Jews and not as profound, when Israel will convert the vengeance of all its generations into a blessing for Europe: then will the seventh day rise and come again, on which the ancient God of the Jews will return and rejoice, he will be able to delight in himself, in his creation and in his chosen people – and we all too, will we not be revealed and rejoice with him.
