Ness Gedera

peace,
The conclusion that emerges from the series on faith (in the trilogy and on YouTube) is that the reasonable conclusion is that there is a God and that He has an interest in communicating with His creatures, especially with us.
In light of this, I would like to examine the case of the miracle in Gedera that happened to the rabbi.
The Rabbi brought this case up several times as a (possible) demonstration of a failure in statistical analysis known as the small numbers. But perhaps we can see here failures in the opposite direction of clinging to the prior knowledge and theory that God has given up over the generations on the path of connection.
It also seems to me that although observations of miracles have generally not been convincing, because the potential gain is enormous, the expectation is still significant (something like Pascal's reasoning).
I know this is an off-topic question, but still.
Good Saturday,
Nati Naftalis

Profit is not a relevant consideration. The claim against Gedera is statistical. You can always claim that there was a miracle there, but there is no indication of that. If you believe in it a priori then you can of course apply it there as well.
