choice

שאל לפני 6 חודשים

Peace, Your Honor,

A thought came to my mind that I had to ask, if we have free choice, does that mean that my will or something like that that is above nature affects nature. For example, I move my hand, if I go back in the cause and effect of things, it seems that my will affected some molecule in the brain and from there the whole story unfolded until my hand moved (I don't think the term molecule is correct but you get what I mean :). It turns out that this molecule moved without a natural reason.
My question is this, why can't the same thing be assumed when a person prays about something or even without prayer? Maybe there is some higher power or something like that that caused the "molecule" to act and as a result I won the lottery, the plane crashed or whatever.
Thank you in advance for your consideration!

This question has been asked here about twenty times. In short, you can assume anything. The question is whether it actually happens. Choice does happen (in my understanding) and divine intervention does not (I see no indication of it).
