Is there a book where the Rabbi discusses the hard problem of consciousness?
Question
Hello, honorable Rabbi,
I saw that you have a book that deals with free choice and touches on neuroscience. I understand that you are a dualist. Do you have a book (or a column/article) where you explain why you are a dualist and discuss the hard problem of consciousness?
Answer
In my book The Science of Freedom I also address the question of body and soul. I do not think consciousness raises a problem that is different from, or more difficult than, the rest of our mental functions.
