Hello Rabbi, I tried to understand how your approach to providence fits with the verses in the Ha'azinu portion that explicitly describe the punishments they will receive from Him if they sin… (especially since the verse says, "Were they wise, they would comprehend this; they would understand their end"—that we should not attribute these things to the nation that strikes us, but to God, and that the only reason God did not strike us in a certain case is that we would attribute it to the nation and not to Him..)
