Maimonides says in The Guide for the Perplexed, regarding providence, that the Holy One, blessed be He, wanted a person to be able to do whatever he wishes, and that he has free choice regarding what to do with himself. And I saw at the beginning of the book Nefesh HaChaim that it says that the Holy One, blessed be He, in His goodness renews each day continually the work of creation; that at every single moment He renews the world, and that the entire power of the world's existence depends only on what He, blessed be His Name, bestows upon it at every moment. And if He were to remove from them the power of His influence for even one moment, in an instant they would all become nothingness and chaos. In your opinion, does he disagree with the above words of Maimonides?
