Question

It is clear to me that God is not a human being, cannot be a human being, and also cannot become one. But I think He can reveal Himself in a human form. For example, with Moses, when the Lord showed him the form of a prayer leader from behind; there are surely other examples. Jesus said about himself, “I am God and you are not.” That does not mean, Heaven forbid, that God has a body or the form of a body, but in a situation of revelation as a body, He Himself is not a body, even if you say that the revelation is permanent. What do you say about that? And a second question, not really related, if I may. Regarding a person, and not necessarily a Jew, who is seeking truth among the three well-known religions: Christianity and Islam rely on the Torah as their source and root, so how can Christianity’s starting point be the New Testament, after God promised that He would not annul His covenant with us? And in the Quran too, that God left us and they are His new people, which contradicts His promise to us in the Torah. Therefore, in my opinion, those two religions are not an option for a reasonable seeker of truth.
