A blessing that brings us together on a Kiddushin or on a chuppah.

Hello Rabbi Michi,
I would love to hear what the rabbi thinks about the blessing that we have given during the chuppah – I would very much like to say the blessing as one does for just joy. The custom of saying the blessing over a tallit seems difficult to me (I remember hearing from Rabbi Lichtenstein that such customs are considered "a blessing that does not need to be done"), since it is clear that the joy of marriage is many times greater than the wrapping of a tallit.
I saw various analyses and excuses online (such as this one ), but I couldn't find an excuse that satisfied my mind.
How does the Rabbi recommend doing this? Should we recite the blessing of our lives without a tallit, only with a tallit, or is there a "third way"? (To recite the blessing of the good and the beneficial?)
Thanks in advance!

Indeed, a very puzzling matter. The page in the link you sent does not exist. I once saw a pretty good explanation for this, but I don't remember it anymore. I searched now and I think this is the explanation I saw here: https://www.toraland.org.il/%D7%9E%D7%90%D7%9E%D7%A8%D7%99%D7%9D/%D7%97%D7%91%D7%A8%D7%94-%D7%95%D7%9E%D7%A9%D7%A4%D7%97%D7%94/%D7%A0%D7%99%D7%A9%D7%95%D7%9 0%D7%99%D7%9D/%D7%91%D7%A8%D7%9B%D7%AA-%D7%A9%D7%94%D7%97%D7%99%D7%99%D7%A0%D7 %95-%D7%91%D7%A9%D7%A2%D7%AA-%D7%94%D7%A0%D7%99%D7%A9%D7%95%D7%90%D7%99%D7%9F/ See at the end. It seems convincing to me. But according to this, there is also no point in saying that we lived on a tallit.
