A few questions

שו"תA few questions
שאל לפני 2 שנים

Peace be upon you and happy holidays.

I have a few questions, I would appreciate it if you could address them. Thank you very much in advance.

1. Is reading two Bibles and one translation obligatory in your opinion?
2. Is it permissible to study during rehearsal?
3. I understand that you study while reciting psalms and the like, which are not obligatory. My question is, is there a technical way to do this without it seeming like a burden (I, for example, feel uncomfortable doing this, even though that's what I do)?
4. On the night of Hoshana Rabbah, do you usually read the Book of Deuteronomy or the rest of the Deuteronomy that we will be reading?
5. Can someone who regrets staying awake make the correction, or is it forbidden because of the joy of the holiday?
6. Is it obligatory to perform kapkot on Chol HaMoed, as well as on Hoshana Rabbah?
7. Is it obligatory to say the Hosanna in the morning prayer of Hosanna Rabbah?
8. Are the circumambulations performed on the night of Shemini Atzeret and at the end of Shemini Atzeret obligatory? Do you practice them?

1. It is accepted that this is obligatory (in the wording of the Gemara this is not clear). 2. Yes. 3. This is a practical question. I have nothing to say about it. 4. No. 5. Assumes that it is permissible, unless the suffering is great. 6. Custom. 7. Custom. 8. Custom. In my opinion, it's not even a custom.
