Angels, Humans, and the Ramban
Hello,
I wanted to share an interesting gem that I think you will find interesting. The famous Gemara (Shabbat Kiv 12,2): "Rabbi Zira said, Rava bar Zimona said, if the Rishonim are sons of angels, we are sons of men." That is, he came to extol the virtue of the Rishonim, who are like angels, and we are only like sons of men. And here the Ramban seems to use this language in the opposite way (Bava Metzia 33,1): "Even though the Rishonim are angels, we are men and the truth teaches us its way."

That's nice. But it's not the other way around. The point is that the halakhic truth is our truth and not that of the angels or the first ones, and not necessarily that we are greater than them. And so on: The Torah was not given to the ministering angels. And it is not in heaven.
