Coming into being from nothing
In the Tanya, it is stated that there is a difference between the creation of 'is' from 'is' and the creation of 'is' from 'nothing'. In 'is' from 'nothing', after the emanation, the product stands on its own. Whereas in 'is' from 'nothing', the creator must renew the product every moment. Hence the concept of private providence is derived. In what way do you disagree with the argument? I would be happy to elaborate.

I don't see why when something is created from nothing, then it is necessary that this something is constantly dependent on the one who created it. And even if so, it doesn't mean private providence. It just means that He is constantly sustaining us, but He may be doing so in a rigid and constant manner (through the laws of nature), and not with personal concern and involvement for each person at every moment.
