Definition of the soul

שו"תקטגוריה: philosophyDefinition of the soul
שאל לפני 9 חודשים

Following on from the question in Chinese that I wrote a few days ago, I will try to formulate a question related to it:
Soul is a definition for several ideas – personality, animals, experience, etc.
Today we know where personality comes from, and where it is built (DNA, education, etc.), we know where life comes from (oxygen in general), all that remains for us is to understand what exactly the experience is and where it comes from.
But now, we can break down the concept of soul, and call it simply consciousness – which describes experience (and awareness) only.

I guess quite a few people still think that everything the definition says is still true, but I'm sure you and other educated people don't think so, so why continue to use this word?
I suppose there's a chance you'll see it in a completely different way, I'd love to know.
By the way, I really appreciate the opportunity to ask you questions, it's not taken for granted that you dedicate your time. Thank you very much🙏

Soul is not a definition of any idea or ideas. The soul is another, non-material element that exists in a person. The soul has all kinds of functions: our entire mental dimension. We don't know where personality comes from, nor experience, nor where anything mental in us comes from. I don't know what you're basing this absurd statement on.
