Innocent faith
Hello Rabbi, it is accepted by the Rabbi and several other rishonim that one should not investigate in faith. I understand that this statement has no validity. My question is if we put aside the practical question of whether it is worthwhile to educate a generation of fundamentalist believers, and put aside the question of whether there is a mitzvah to believe and investigate (which appears in the Rambam), since this is controversial. Rather, is there value in believing rational faith over emotional faith? Of course it is foolish for me to believe emotional faith, but do I have a reason to educate other people to rational faith because emotional faith is other gods?, or is there no reason other than the practical one or is there such a mitzvah?. What is your opinion?.
